My annual September visit to Pemaquid Point, Maine, this year coincided with the arrival of dynamic surf and an extreme high tide churned up by Hurricane Lee, being about 200 miles off the coast. The resulting color and crashing surf became a perfect subject for my en plein air watercolor painting on d' Arches 300 pound cold press acid-free paper, framed, matted, and signed as a unique original, one-of-a-kind watercolor painting. ©2023 Sally Caswell
