“Air Garden” began in reality with a cyanotype made from growing specimens from my surroundings. Once printed, my interpretation of the image took a more imaginative path. I wanted to break out of a rectangular format and expand the image to capture a garden's sense of growth and exuberance. Hand-painted tape, colored pencils, and Posca markers were used to create an image that suggests my emotion ties to the natural world.
