"I based my project on J.R.R.
Tolkien’s world. My final outcome
is A4, on Bristol Board paper using
graphite pencil to replicate the
style of my chosen artists – John
Howe, and Alan Lee. I wanted to
reflect the sense of wonder, and
wild beauty in Tolkien’s world.
Also the fight between good and
evil. I did this through the subject
matter of an elf fighting a dragon,
and through how I composed the
piece, giving it movement and
flow, therefore giving it more life.”
