I based my project on the theme of Depictions of mental illnesses as
creatures
• . My final outcome is 29.7 x 42 cm on white cartridge paper, using
mixed media of; paint, and pencil. I wanted to show , a depiction of
mental illnesses as creatures and how this is affecting the people
who suffer from them. I used colours to convey the emotion and
depression.
• Overall it was about a person suffering from these illnesses and
their reaction to being plauged by these creatures, although they
are affected by the creatures presence, they must live with this.
• This was a very enlightening project which allowed me to
pursue an interest of mine in a way I wouldn't
have thought was possible
