Last summer, I visited the tiny town of Windham situated along the Catskill Mountains of southeastern New York.  Our family rented a home located on a golf course with several ponds and plenty of critters.  My daughter and I were taking a sunset stroll, and she noticed the mirror like reflection of the trees and reeds that lined the pond nearest to our house.  It was incredibly quiet except for the frogs croaking and birds diving into the water to fish, and for that moment we felt completely one with nature.  It was a much-needed reminder to pause and reflect on the beauty surrounding us and the many interconnections between humans and the world we inhabit.
