Geri Buchanan, photographer, painter, and musician came to Richmond to retire from teaching and running her own arts and music studio in Creston, BC. She worked as a performer, educator, and visual artist for 35 years in Creston, the heart of the central Kootenay region in south eastern British Columbia. These three photographs beautifully demonstrate her love for working with natural light no matter the subject. Although officially retired, she still actively conducts an enthusiastic choir of seniors and continues to create photographs and paintings.
