ARTIST STATEMENT

"Sharing a Vision:
Art is exploring our unconscious universe"

I was born in Rome where I now live and work.

My art research is based on drawing techniques and multidisciplinary experiments.

In the last years I begun using a combination of visual languages such as collage, photography with analog and digital drawings.

My art research is founded on paradox, play, irony and the exploration of reality through its contradictions.

In the last years I focused my research on the exploration of feminine unconscious universe, on women's body perception in different cultures and on how strongly women are oppressed in many countries including our "progressive" Europe.

Although deeply connected with the difficult realities surrounding us nowadays my style remains often dreamy and visionary as expression of an archetypical unconscious universe.

I love expressing the immense energies of women souls and their deep connection with natural elements as these are often concealed and oppressed.
In my art I like creating images where powerful cosmic energies flow freely to expand as a women/human empowerment symbol.

It's my way of showing how deeply we humans are connected with each other and with our enviroment and how we can't think of ourselves as separated isolated units.
My mission in my art is to show how strongly we are entangled to nature, enviroment and each other.
