This graphic work focuses on the colour and pattern within the original paintings. In a way these paintings are as much about the abstract form observed in nature that the composition itself. The painting requires the materials to freely blend, bleed and evolve within the surrounding black background in the way that the landscape is also created.

They show similarity to anatomical or biological structures as well as geomorphological features seen on planetary bodies from space, remote sensing and aerial photography.

For the artist these images are symbols of the way forward. To a future in which we realise our position in the natural scheme of things and to look further in to our collective relationship with the natural world at the macro and micro level as well as within the human field of view. Through observing the natural patterns and processes we hope to come more in tune with our world and with its each other as a single race.
