During the first regional lockdown: we were only allowed to leave home for essentials: exercise, caring, shopping for essentials. Out on daily walks it was nice to walk by friends’ homes and say hi from a distance, the simple act of checking in on others, so important for each to stay connected, even if only for a brief moment
