200 x 100 x 5 cm (h x w x d)
In 1994, in less than 100 days, nearly a million Tutsis, mostly elderly men and boys, and thousands of moderate Hutus, were killed with machetes in Rwanda. The aim was to eradicate the Tutsi ethnic group from the country. The genocidal strategy encouraged the rape of more than 400, 000 Tutsi women with the intention of <<increasing>> the Hutu population.
