In this project students took inspiration from Picasso’s Painting of a Lover in a Beret, 1973. Students first painted different parts of their portrait in bright colours akin to Picasso’s colour pallet. They then worked with Picasso’s signature style of fragmented portraits and made 3D busts using carboard.
