REPRESENTATION
This group of artists sought to imagine a cultural environment with more possibilities for their identities beyond the archetypal limits imposed on women by society. They created new poetics and politics of representation with humor and a philosophical edge.
The hidden or silenced find the light of representation and they try to sabotage the stereotypes to tell new stories in our societies.
REPRESENTACIÓN
Este grupo de artistas buscaba imaginar un entorno cultural con más posibilidades para sus identidades más allá de los límites arquetípicos impuestos a las mujeres por la sociedad. Crearon nuevas poéticas y políticas de representación con humor y un toque filosófico.
Las ocultas o silenciadas encuentran la luz de la representación e intentan sabotear los estereotipos para contar nuevas historias en nuestras sociedades.
