The deviation consists in creating an online newspaper “thesource22.wordpress.com”, dated 2118, portraying Brooklyn neighborhood’s life in the coexistence of augmented humans and normal humans.
Using the articles on source 22, the artists tried to bring up the question of how society may react to a world with biological humans and cyber-humans.
They go through the coverage of a main story evolving around Saint Joseph’s neighborhood school and the classes’ separation of normal kids and kids with augmented ability, reflected in the curriculum offered by the school.
The artists go into creating an entire online experience from articles, artwork and all the way to what online POPup ADS might look like in 2118.
