Festival of Arts Purchase Award
FOAPAC #2010.024
Jon was born in Laguna Beach, but his career was launched in Hollywood. Shortly after opening his studio gallery in 1979, he sold a large scale sculpture to a well known movie maker. Soon, movie stars and makers took notice and began their own collections of Seeman’s artwork. He learned the essence of metal fabrication in New York, and moving back to Laguna Beach, he created a unique vision that presents a dynamic suspension of geometric forms suggesting motion. His ever growing success meant that corporations, public art in cities, and individuals were actively collecting his artwork.
