FOAPAC #2010.042
David is known for his skill and dedication to creating sculpture that reflect his attitude of reducing complex shapes and surfaces into simpler forms. To achieve this end, his labor intensive granite sculptures create a flow and continuity of the tapered and hardedge shapes. They first appear to be separate shapes, but are not; all are carefully carved and chiseled to seem separate, but are of one stone. David’s sculpture has been collected by both, corporations and individuals throughout the United States.
