What Makes Me, Me , 2020
40 x 40 in (h x w)
Acrylic over canvas
[31]

I decided to paint a tree to symbolize the tree of life and how I feel as though my life is split in two. A symbol of personal growth, strength, and beauty. The Tree of Life symbol also represents the connection to one’s family and ancestors. One half represents my life with family and the other side shows how If though no one is in my life.
