Daily Telegraph critic Terence Mullaly wrote of Cohen's 'notable' 1963 London exhibition:'The artist's technical achievements are formidable. The drawings, which like Domenico Tiepolo's on the same theme make use of a nervous pen line and wash, emphasize that Cohen is one of the best draughtsmen at work to-day. The oil […] employ a blaze of colour or smouldering tones to establish mood.
