Content and Green , 2020

acrylic on canvas

A study was conducted on the correlation between color and emotion. The findings were that green stimulated the most positive reaction. This is because of its ties to nature and relation to tranquility. This piece is an encapsulation of all these aspects. The woman is peacefully laying down covered by flowers drawn monochromatically green. The ground is not explicitly grass but, the mind makes that connection based off of the context and color used.
