The deer spirit is a symbol of strength and gentleness. Being the guardians of the forest they show us about vigilance, keen sensory perception and to truly “sense” what is in front of us - whether that is danger or contribution to our evolution. This vision was a reconnection to the native ancestors of the land in Canada and of the elemental wisdom from the beast and bird kingdoms. It has significance of inverted also and signals the liminal boundaries between the human world and of the world of magic and elements.
