This piece was created using crayons and oil based pastels, but with a honey varnish applied on top of the self-portrait. Something I began experimenting with when I started applying honey to my own face during lock down, as results indicated in smoother less greasier skin. There is also subliminal imagery hidden throughout of an indentation shower bag print in green ink. Themes such 'facade' run throughout this piece.
