Bei der ersten Ansicht des Fotos haben mich Farbe, Form und Anordnung der Blüten angesprochen. Nachdem ich die Ansicht des Fotos um 180° gedreht und verschiedene Ansätze skizziert habe, sind für mich "grüne Sterne im Kreis" herarusgekommen.

Da ich gerne frei arbeite, habe ich Grüntöne in unregelmäßigen Log Cabins umgesetzt und um eine vermeintliche Mitte herum angeordnet. Die Sterne sind als Quiltlinien aufgenommen worden.

Green Stars in a Circle

When I first looked at the photo, my attention was caught by the colour, shape and placement of the cacti. I turned the photo by 180° and made a few sketches before I decided on "green stars in a circle".

I like to work freely so I translated the green shades into an irregular Log Cabin pattern and arranged the "blocks" around an imaginary centre. The stars are also included as quilt lines.
