I have a series of fierce woman of different cultures. This Dia de los Muertos version is inspired by Frida, as well as my favorite holiday. I've been in Mexico several times to celebrate this holiday and am inspired by the the culture, colors and meaning it represents. The painting was originally just a colorful painting, but then I had the idea to put sugar skull makeup on using glow paint.
