A mixed media collage exploring our idea of preservation: perfectly preserved specimens, old documents, all sealed in wax. Humans have this obsession with creating archives, with protecting things of the old. But must the past always remain perfectly unchanged? If we look to nature, the world is constantly in a state of change. What would an archive belonging to the earth look like? Relics of the past would be buried away, fading into obscurity as they feed a new generation of life.
