Gavin Porter is an emerging artist with a graphical style that focuses on zines, narrative and mythical map driven drawings. With a satirical sense of humour and meticulous planning, his artworks present colourful illustrations in fine liner and marker on paper, as well as black and white ink drawings. His practice explores social and political dichotomies recurring characters engage in the eternal struggle between good and evil, as well as post-apocalyptic survival.

Porter has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2007 and held his first solo exhibition in 2016 in Melbourne. His work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions and is held in private collections in Australia.
