In this illustration is my grandmother Meymanat and my grandfather Isaac (may he rest in peace). My grandmother says that this photo was taken in the best photography studio in Iran at the time, the studio where the Shah of Iran took his photos.

This photo means a lot to me, because it makes me think about myself and my future. It makes me happy to see how despite the passage of time, there are many customs that are still in force, such as the photo session after the wedding. In my family that is something that is used to doing a lot and those photos remain for many generations.
