I've been baking sourdough bread for my family and a few neighbours during lockdown and after many bakes I started to design different scoring patterns on the loaves. I new I wanted to photograph them and after a few practice bakes I got my desired look. I then composed the shot with pen and paper, gathered my props together and this particular morning - it all came together.
