When asked by a Levi’s exec to create “something memorable” to tell the story of their iconic 501 jean, I knew that a book was the answer. "This Is a Pair of Levi’s Jeans" illustrates the 150-year history of the legendary piece of utilitarian apparel with 300-plus pages of people, places, and political movements. A series of gatefolds reveals historical letters and ephemera from the Levi’s archive, visually narrating the brand’s rich story.
