It was not until after I had completed this painting, that I realized the shadow I had been watching in the mirror is the same shadow I had already painted in Predictability, only in reverse. I always love when a subject compels an artist over and over again. It is as if the artist is pulled by some invisible force, or unknowingly adhering to a law of the universe.
