El Monte, CA

I started creating a Dia de los Muertos series back in 2017 and I have not stopped since. My artwork embodies my family members, who are still living. I chose to paint them, because I want my family to see my love and appreciation for them. As well as a way to immortalize them through my work; as we all know, we can not avoid death. But by painting them, I can keep their memory alive forever.
