My direction and voice as an artist is driven by my deep commitment to saving habitats and the diverse animals on our planet. Using printmaking strategies and mixed media, I convey the awesome power of the wildfires. The spontaneous path of destruction caused by the fires is echoed in the spontaneous and uncharted articulation of ink and solvent. I also draw inspiration from my passion for nature to highlight what we lose if we don’t commit to protecting biodiversity.
