This artwork represents the artist's emotions with everything thats going on in the world, but especially in America. The words “Fed Up” reflect those emotions perfectly.

Maya Milton is an artist from Seattle, Washington, but first and foremost, a black woman. "I create art because I was born to do so. Ever since I was little, I knew I had a gift. My goal is to create art that resembles me, art that reflects things I believe in, fight for, stand for, and work towards. My work also reflects what inspires me, it provides a look into my life, how I think and what I see. I want to provide a space for women of color but especially black women to be empowered. I create to inspire us to be comfortable and confident in our own skin, while focusing on celebrating our differences."
