'Searching for answers' Megan Ringrose Unique Print (Hahnemuhle 420mmx 594mm) I was fortunate to be invited to participate in a residency project run by London Alternative Photography Collective. My work in 2019 was based around the researching alternative substrates in photography. I started to work with glass and cyanotype solution in gelatin in 2019. The image that I have submitted here is a manifestation of my feelings through lock down. As an artist I was searching for personal answers and globally; scientists were trying to find an answer: a vaccine. A cyanotype solution mixed with bio plastic was injected with a plant based phenol and was exposed to UV.
