This piece represents a communication network of a species interconnected in and of the earth, looking toward the same light of unity consciousness. It is an ode to the Fungi Kingdom, specifically the Psilocybe cubensis (also known as magic mushrooms, or gold caps). These mushrooms contain the psychedelic compounds psilocibin and psilocin, and when used as sacred earth medicine allies, can help guide us back to this remembrance -- opening our hearts to the realization of how deeply we are connected. Beyond the psychedelic aspects, mushrooms species represent a mirror to humanity of our interconnectedness and dependence on a healthy ecosystem and community to thrive together, as a larger complex system... All of which is heading toward the same light...

This piece started during the 1-month mushroom anniversary on the Vision Train, and personally reminds me of the network of artists that have come together to support one another during the global 2020 pandemic. We have been an interconnected communication network over the web, and are all committed to creating art with a shared purpose of creating something meaningful. (We also
painted to all of Gold Cap's Goldcast quarantine tracks during the process).
