"…during the nineties and even early two-thousands, it was extremely rare to see affluent and educated citizens of Kathmandu or Nepali-Americans as consumers of Nepali films. These trends are a result of both, internalized white supremacy as a legacy of European colonial history and India’s current imperial hold in South Asia.
