“In tempi come questi, crediamo che una cover silenziosa dica molto di più di qualsiasi parola o immagine”. Così, Ferdinando Verderi, direttore creativo di “Vogue Italia”, ha spiegato la cover completamente bianca del numero di aprile. Il bianco è qui percepito come rappresentazione del silenzio e della luce: messaggio di rispetto e di speranza per la difficile situazione che l’Italia stava attraversando durante i primi mesi della pandemia.
In questo speciale numero, più di 40 artisti hanno partecipato al progetto inviando il proprio contributo. Tra questi: Steven Klein, David Sims, Harley Weir, Oliver Hadlee Pearch, Emilie Kareh, Thomas De Kluvyer.

White is here perceived as a representation of silence and light: a message of respect and hope for the difficult situation Italy was going through during the first months of the pandemic.
