"Gift to the Golden Teachers was created to express my gratitude for some of the most potent teachers in my life. Between an opening in a forest of Manzanita trees, two figures hover over a cauldron filled with a golden elixir. Cutting into their own flesh, still smiling, they pour their guts and blood sacrifice into the potion. This alchemical act is an offering, calling to the beings that rise in the sky above them. Watching over this whole display is Father Mushroom, his features realized in the shape of the landscape and the glowing smile of the magical pot.
Is this sacrificial action what draws these guardian saucers near, or is the presence of the saucers themselves the guiding influence for this sacred moment? Only the Golden Teachers know."
