Artist Statement
These images represent the feeling of safety a baby has from the moment they are born. I believe the feeling of safety for a baby is extremely important especially during their first interactions with family, friends and healthcare workers. I feel that safe interactions for a baby helps them grasp an understanding of the world in a positive way. In this series I hope to highlight the community of healthcare workers, family members, friends, colleagues and strangers who have supported, respected and kept my journey of life a safe and valued experience.
