Vision II - The Light at the end of the tunnel , 1978

The Light at the end of the tunnel. The Spirit has left the body behind and is being transformed.
One of three works painted after my father's death. They were painted between July and September of 1978. They would also be the last works painted on Screamer Mountain. The paintings are virtually impossible to photograph. Not seen in this reproduction is a detailed architectural window opening that surrounds the circle. Also, not visible is the detail inside the inner circle. There the horizon line is the outer perimeter of the circle. Inside there are 360 degrees of clouds all illuminated by the light source in the center of the circle.
