This artwork shows the power of my eye to view the inner beauty in the world. Despite people trying to cover my entire vision, I have a power to sense inner beauty. As an artist, I am compelled by the power of each person’s inner beauty. As I have explored this concept through art, I’ve considered the tensions that keep people from seeing their own inner beauty. To portray this, I imagined each obstacle as a hand that covers my face in an attempt to keep me from seeing all of my inner beauty.
