The image entitled Courage: la Santé du Coeur, speaks to the tremendous courage it takes to maintain the values of our public healthcare system in Canada. Within Alberta Health Services, our values inspire and guide our work: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and safety. This is the HeART of HealthCARE. The stress of the pandemic, illness and injury can weigh heavily upon us, but the courage of our hearts, our wisdom and compassion remain visible. Our journey towards health and wellbeing lifts us up from the depths of turmoil and moves us towards personal growth and empowerment.
