My artistic vision brings together contemporary visual art with meditative practice in order to consider the relationship between reflection and transformation.

I explore the evolving nature of emotional experience, touching on themes of love, loss, desire, and hope. My paintings offer a way of exploring and developing compassion for the deep parts of oneself and of others. Because emotional experience is at the heart of these works they bridge various social boundaries and inspire connection across difference.

My practice as a Visual Artist includes developing arts-based educational and community experiences. Over the past 25+ years, I have offered Expressive Arts programs through the City of Toronto, Toronto District School Board, Scarborough Arts, University of Toronto, St. John the Divine Convent and Jaya Yoga Centre.
