Born in Sittard in 1971, lives and works there. Studied at the Art School Academy in Sittard (1992-1996, graduated with a bachelor's degree in art). From 1985 he worked as a graffiti artist and is considered one of the pioneers in the region. Today Marcus is active worldwide as a muralist and "urban fine artist"/painter. He works with various media, including spray paint, oil paint, acrylic and stickers. He was particularly excited to work on the largest mural in Holland in Oss, it has 2000m². Other works are/were shown in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, England, Italy, Croatia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ireland, Greece, Spain, USA and Australia. Characteristic of his work is a layered fusion of photorealistic urban art with surreal influences, combined with organic colour elements. Inspired by eyes, faces, birds, nature, the message of "being one with nature" emerges - this is what Marcus wants to bring to people.
