In the artist's own words: "An amalgamation of butterflies, blossoms, and a beauty: this piece is a reflection of nature’s tiny fleeting fragments that leave us in awe, and inspire clarity and creativity. As such, I painted a divinity, like in a dream faintly still, yet emerging from this dancing tree – tying folklore and nature together. Thalia is a Greek goddess, one of the Three Graces, representing festivity and blooming. I likened the fragments of my subject matter–flowers in full bloom and insects in complete metamorphosis–to this figure in an attempt to piece them together. Hence, an amalgamation of some of the things I love to paint, through divinity."
