Kafe Kaos, iconic local restaurant in the main street of Lorne, was closed and the outdoor dining area colourfully out of bounds. Since then, I have learned that it has closed down forever. An iconic landmark in the Lorne main street,
it has been there for many years. Sadly it has not been able to survive the current pandemic for financial reasons.
It is tragic to see this happening with increasing frequency in the small country towns like Lorne that rely on tourism for much of their existence.
