In conclusion, our exhibit seeks to introduce the viewer to different types of activism campaigns throughout history in the United States. We chose a wide range of works from different time periods in order to demonstrate how these campaigns had an impact on design but also how design had on impact on the campaigns. We explored different topics from women’s rights to LGBTQ awarenress to the issues of labor laws to give the viewer a wide range of topics to explore. We wanted to make sure everyone who came to the exhibition had something to relate to so it would appeal to a wider audience. The exhibition leaves viewers with a small hint of how these movements impacted the society we know today and leaves them wanting more information as they go on to do their own research as well.
