Artista visivo. Nel suo lavoro si muove tra diverse discipline e linguaggi: dalle grandi installazioni alla scultura, dalla fotografia al disegno grafico.
Il progetto “In the room” nasce da un invito fatto dalla casa discografica Elli Records ai suoi musicisti che, confinati all’interno delle mura domestiche, non avevano la possibilità di lavorare in studio. Il risultato è un progetto collettivo: 16 album registrati interamente nelle abitazioni degli artisti con strumenti e suoni della quotidianità.
Cavinato, in particolare, è stato chiamato dall’etichetta a realizzare un’opera di cover art divisa in 16 sezioni (ognuna delle quali fa da cover a uno dei sedici album), che costituisce la cornice dell’intera iniziativa musicale. Lo spazio chiuso, geometricamente astratto e simbolico della proposta restituisce e sintetizza quella dimensione domestica e di sconfinamento domiciliare che è stata ragione e spunto di tutto il progetto.

I contenuti e le riproduzioni delle opere sono inseriti nel percorso a fini esclusivamente didattici e scientifici e non possono essere riutilizzati a nessun titolo.

The project “In the room” was born from an invitation by Elli Records to his musicians who, confined within their home, did not have the opportunity to work in the recording studio. The result is a collective project: 16 digital albums entirely recorded at the artists' homes with instruments and sounds of everyday life.
Cavinato, in particular, was called by the company to create a cover art work divided into 16 sections (each of which acts as a cover for one of the sixteen digital albums), which constitutes the framework of the entire musical initiative. The closed, geometrically abstract and symbolic space of the proposal gives back and synthesizes the domestic and home encroachment dimension that was the reason and inspiration of the whole project.
