As city dwellers and regular users of public transport, we witness the increasing inequalities around the major French conurbations, and Paris in particular, due to public transportation policies.
These travellers cards, which are part of the daily lives of more than 3 million passengers, denounce the inequalities exacerbated by these mobility policies.
- The Grande Invasion card refers to the economically over-privileged CSP+ who are invading other cities that have recently become easily accessible - 55min from Paris to Le Mans, 200km -, destabilising the local economy.
- The Grand Banlieusard card highlights the socio-economic isolation of suburban dwellers - 55min from Saint Rémy Les Chevreuse to Paris, 36km - and the deterioration of their travel conditions to major urban centres.
