Pin , 1990s
Jewelry

This pin is made by Jeanette Lee, a Vancouver-based artist who came of age in the 1970s. Jeanette made it twenty-five years ago for her sister, who was deeply interested in Chinese culture and Asian-inspired jewelry. The character means “double happiness” in Chinese, and it is always associated with marriage.
