torso
60 x 40 cm (h x w)
plaster, concrete, oil paint, wire

The purpose of this work is to provoke discomfort and the realization of disharmony. Greatly intrigued and inspired by works such as Beuys’ “Torso” or Eva Hesse’s “ringaround arosie” I decided to experiment with multimedia production. Inspired by the lateral thinkers of the post-minimalist era, you are looking at an unsettling piece of art that does not conform to the mainstream idea that art must be aesthetically pleasing and peaceful.
