Soon We'll Have Another , 2022
Physical

This piece presents a girl who ventured too far as she chased wild dreams, and is now out of her depth. The boat that enabled her was a seductive red, inspiring her adventures, but its remains are now adrift and beyond repair. The last person who made this mistake now sleeps with the fishes. Meanwhile clocks and fish rejoice over the corpse, knowing that humans can lose themselves to dreams and forget the power of the natural world. Only in death do we understand how nature takes its course. This is what happens when we neither question nor fully develop our dreams, only chasing the first ambition that comes to mind. We can find ourselves lost and hopeless if we forget the realistic consequences to our dreams.
